Counterpoint: NY-21 Needs a Builder, Not Another List

Cliff Olney’s argument is not really a counterpoint so much as an ongoing list of grievances, government programs, administrative concerns, and progressive minutiae. Broadband, housing, tourism, airports, healthcare, zoning, border traffic, constituent services, advisers, agencies, permits, town halls—the list keeps expanding until the central question disappears. Who is actually prepared to go to Washington, exercise power, attract investment, cut through government paralysis, and build something measurable for NY-21?
The Golden Age will not be created by forming another committee to study every obstacle from fifteen different angles. It will be built by people with the confidence, relationships, business experience, and executive instinct to move projects from conversation to reality. Anthony Constantino is not claiming that every problem has a simple answer; he is arguing that northern New York has spent long enough managing decline through progressive minutiae. NY-21 does not need another steward of the existing system. It needs a builder willing to challenge that system, seize the opportunities of the Golden Age, and produce results people can actually see.
